For inserting a new sheet in DEMAND one have to press the button Add in the top part of the DEMAND panel. A new row will be added and the user will be requested to introduce the following information:

            Length,

            Width,

            Number of sheets/pieces,

            Type of the material,

Rotation - whether the piece is allowed rotation,

            Label and

            Edge Banding (optional).

for the considered sheet.

For Edge Banding press the button from the last colomn.

If you perform 1D optimization enter only one value (either Length or Width). The other value should be left empty or set to 0.

If you do NOT want to rotate a piece it will be cut in the given position (length of the piece in the DEMAND along to the length of the piece in the REPOSITORY). Otherwise it will be rotated or not in order to minimize the waste. Take care to the grain direction if you work with wood.

One can specify whether the considered sheet will be used or not in the optimization process.

For deleting a sheet from the DEMAND one must press the button Delete from the top side of the panel DEMAND.
