Optimization 2D X is a powerful automation component used for obtaining optimal cutting layouts for two dimensional surfaces.

Optimization 2D X can be used for cutting rectangular sheets made of glass, wood, metal, or any other material used by industrial applications.

Optimization 2D X can handle any number of parts to be cut (also called DEMAND pieces) and any number of stock sheets (also called REPOSITORY pieces).

Optimization 2D X can be used  within any programming environment such as Delphi, C++Builder, Visual Basic, Visual C++, Visual C#, Visual J# etc.

Features:

-          Any number of pieces in Demand and Repository.

-          Guillotine optimization (The cutting are performed from one side to the other of the material).

-          Non-guillotine (nested) optimization (The cutting machine can follow the shape of the material).

-          Multi-stage cutting optimization (Only horizontal / vertical cuts are permitted in the first stage and only vertical / horizontal are permitted in the second stage and so on)

-          Manual arrange of pieces after optimization (for guillotine optimization).

-          Priority for pieces from Demand and Repository.

-          Holes in the Repository sheets. No Demand piece can overlap with the holes.

-          Adjustable cutting blade thickness.

-          Adjustable optimization level.

-          Adjustable cutting length.

-          Three optimization algorithms available.

-          Adjustable breakage width (useful for cutting materials by breaking them - e.g. glass).

-          Manual editing of the obtained layouts.

-          Virtually any length or width.

-          Statistics related to the current optimization.

-          Any measurement metric.

-          Very fast algorithm (Solutions are obtained within seconds).

-          Can be embedded within any language that supports automation (VB, Delphi, C++Builder, VC++, Visual C#, Visual J# etc).
