Cutting Optimization Pro can optimize linear (1D) and rectangular (2D)in the same time. In the same stock and parts grids one may have 1D and 2D pieces.
For 1D pieces only one value (Length or Width must be introduced). The other field must be left empty or set to 0.
1D pieces have both ends at 90 degrees. If you need to cut 1D pieces at angles different from 90, please use our Real Cut 1D program.
The Rotation and Grain fields have no effect in the case of 1D optimization.
The results for 1D optimization are displayed graphically and in tabular format:
